How is this calculated?
This tool provides an estimate of your Take Home Pay in Indonesia. Actual numbers may vary based on company policies.
- BPJS Ketenagakerjaan: 2% JHT (Old Age Security) + 1% JP (Pension, capped at max salary base ~Rp 10.042.300).
- BPJS Kesehatan: 1% (Employee share, capped at max salary base ~Rp 12.000.000).
- PPH 21 (Income Tax): Uses the simplified TER (Tarif Efektif Rata-rata) method for monthly deduction estimates, or annualized progressive layers (Layer 1: 5%, Layer 2: 15%, etc.) minus your PTKP.
- 50/30/20 Rule: A popular budgeting guideline. 50% for Needs (Rent, Food), 30% for Wants (Entertainment), and 20% for Savings/Investments.
